The support shown by Fire, EMS, and Public works is what made the funeral detail successful. It COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED without all hands on deck. It was a somber but respectful and well deserved final call for Chief McIntire. Thank you for all that served today. Job well done!!!

We hope that everyone had a great Christmas! Santa was very good to the members of the Fox Chapel VFD this year, gifting members new FCVFD ball caps, winter beanies, and golf shirts.

(Santa may have had a little help from the awesome team at Parsons Kellogg- check them out for all your custom apparel needs! www.corporategear.com)

Hopefully by now, you're aware there is an arctic cold front coming early Fri AM. The image depicts the timeframe for when you can expect a changeover from rain to snow as that front crosses. This is also when you should anticipate potential for flash freeze concerns to start. ... See MoreSee Less

When it was time to retire a batch of helmets which were beyond their useful life, Margaret Pohl, wife of Lt. Mike Pohl, had the great idea of turning our old helmet shields into Christmas tree ornaments!

These ornaments were distributed to our members, and while we do not have any available to share or sell, we would like to collect and make shield ornaments for our station Christmas tree from departments near and far!

If you have an old helmet shield you are willing to part with, please send us a message- we'll turn it into an ornament and add it to our tree.
